Well, we got to read Packer's report about Rocktober before it disappeared (You feel like doing it again...?), but he neglected to tell everyone about what I considered the highlight, (besides the food and company). After we had repaired the water system, we went back to camp, just as it started to snow. First it was corn snow, not much, but it looked like the kids were enjoying it. Then I thought I heard thunder coming from Hilton, I wasn't sure, but it sounded like it. Within a short amount of time, the skies lit up, thunder overhead, I was right ...pretty amazing, I've only experienced conditions like that a few times, usually in the Winter. The thunder and lightning and snow kept up for quite a while, still corn snow, not much of it...then that part of the storm moved on, the snow turned to larger flakes, floating down around us. You shoulda been there.
