Took a quick trip up the Canyon on the way home from Mammoth.
The Lake showed no signs of ice yet. The temp at the lake at 11:30am yesterday was 48 degrees. The few nights before in Mammoth temps went to 8 and 10 degrees. Winter should be coming soon.
The small stream at lower coral was iced over and flowing underneath. I am sure Jill's squirrels are in for their winter naps.
Of course, had to make the breakfast stop before heading down the road.

Pretty nice when all the tourists are gone, isn't it?

I`ve been up that road a few times in early November and the thing that hit me viewing Packers photos is the lack of Snow !
Hopefully old man winter will be showing up soon !

Been too long since I've seen that view. Thanks for sharing, Corey!
